Clínica Las Condes is a private health facility founded more than 35 years ago, with 4 locations in the Metropolitan Region. The assignment consisted of redesigning the wayfinding guidance system at the clinic’s headquarters, due to the new navigation requirements of the facility.
We worked together with the design office Magia Liquid, who designed the signage, and we were in charge of the implementation and the technical download of the project. The original signage was modified and a new one was generated; this improved orientation within the facilities and provided a new nomenclature for the five buildings that make up the clinic, through the application of letters and colors. We implement exterior, interior and parking lot signage, as well as building signage, internal location maps, information totems and fixed and interactive multimedia information screens.
We sought to use existing structures, defining a unified iconographic and typographic system, in addition to the challenge of operating under a work logic that would not interrupt the normal functioning of the clinic. The signage system included approximately 30 different types of signs, totaling more than 400 points of contact.
