Sony is a Japanese multinational company headquartered in Tokyo, founded in 1943. It is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of consumer electronics, including audio, photography, video, audiovisual, computers, video games, telephony, television, and more.
More than 60 years after its founding, the company decided to rebrand, applying the new image to both its stores and corporate buildings.
The assignment involved remodeling the corporate building in Chile, , including the facade, store, and workspaces, implementing the company’s new image. For this purpose, we carried out both aesthetic and programmatic interventions in the facilities; these convey Sony’s identity in terms of technology and innovation. To give a different look from what was there before, the facade was transformed with multimedia lighting programming; generating a dynamic aesthetic that gives versatility to the building, changing according to day and night. The work areas were reformulated to provide greater connectivity and ease of use for the employees.
